Crypto Income Tax Helper

Most tax authorities tax crypto income at its USD (or local currency) value on the day you received it — not the day you cash out. This looks up the historical price for each payment so you don't have to dig through old charts. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

Why "value at receipt" matters

In the US, UK, and most jurisdictions that tax crypto, getting paid in crypto is treated like getting paid in any currency: you owe income tax on the USD value the moment you received it, regardless of what it's worth later. If the price moves afterward, that's a separate capital gain or loss when you eventually sell or convert it — a different calculation this tool doesn't attempt.

This is not tax advice. Rules vary by country and change often — confirm with a local accountant. This tool only automates the lookup of a historical price; it doesn't know your jurisdiction's rules.
