| Network | Current gas price | Est. cost — one USDT transfer |
|---|---|---|
| USDT (TRC20 / Tron) | — | typically ~$0.10–$1 (resource-based, not gas-price based) |
| USDT (ERC20 / Ethereum) | loading… | loading… |
| USDT (BEP20 / BNB Chain) | loading… | loading… |
All three networks can carry USDT, but the cost of actually sending it varies a lot — mostly driven by how busy the network is right now. Ethereum (ERC20) fees spike when the network is congested; TRC20 and BEP20 stay cheap almost always. If your client is picking a network, cheaper usually means TRC20 or BEP20 unless their wallet only supports ERC20.
These are network fees only (what the blockchain charges to process the transfer) — they're paid by whoever sends the transaction, same as a bank wire fee, and are unrelated to the invoice amount itself.
